Devotional music stalwart
GuruGanesha handles the guitar with effortless grace, slipping easily between chordal rhythms and mellifluous leads. A self-confessed Deadhead, he has a near clairvoyant ability to goad and guide the group’s inspired jamming on the music’s open-ended structures.”
- Alan di Perna, Yoga Journal, Rolling Stone, Guitar World

"I just wanted to tell you how much joy your music has given me. You sing in my living room or in my earphones and I sing long with you and feel my soul vibrate with love for all.
Thank you and I hope many blessings come your way."
- Gunilla / Har Anand Kaur, Sweden

"I have had the pleasure to be with GuruGanesh and loved his stories, music & his love of chants take over our hearts. Such joy to be with him!!"

"I'd like to put into words what I felt happened to me. First there is
always the receptivity on my part to what you are doing. The music
already flows within me. You opened with "Servant of Peace." This song
goes to the heart of healing for me. True healing is in knowing you
are already blessed by the touch of "The Lord." This song reminds me
of that and my true happiness begins from this point. Being the soul
who, being touched by the Grace of the Divine, can give the Blessings
that naturally flow through us, when we allow and enjoy these
Blessings is a Supreme Gift. My heart overflows in gratitude to you,
Snatam and the Family of Love I have been lucky enough to have met.
Your wife, Sopurgh, Jap Preet, and relatives of you all.
The song selection for the evening couldn't have been better for me. I
sang the lyrics right out, every one. I felt each word and sound was a
message to my soul. The healing is a remembrance. Great day and
evening all around.
Thank you brother,
"

The combination of voices and instruments is beautiful. I am looking forward to listening to the entire CD.

It's a great and wonderful CD, I will add it to my collections of Snatam's CD.

Elder statesmen are not outside of or exempt from the maturation process in their artistry. GuruGanesha Singh is an icon of the yoga music genre. A musician deeply devoted to both his craft and the greater landscape of sacred sound, his contribution to World Sacred Music is extensive.

Magic resonance
There is a magical thread of sound current, a magical resonance that you manage to tap on to...long vowels flowing and taking you to the heaven within, like Snatam Kaur. May you both continue gifting us with your music and inspiring us to resound ourselves!

I love the guitar and the vocals. The acoustic guitar conjures a wonderful energy. The sound is clear with deep and meaningful ancient Chants. I can play this at work and create a peaceful atmosphere and many don't quite know why. I like to think it's a well kept secret but I know better! Any kind of folks can and will listen.

Fantastic! This is my favorite "yoga cd". I highly recommend it - you won't be disappointed!

Sat nam Akal Sahai,
Your dad teaches such a great workshop - I can't tell you just how in the flow he was. Absolutely marvelous. I don't think he realizes how deep an impact he has on students & teachers alike, but I assure you he does, boy, he does. Many are coming forward to tell me about their personal experience and what came up for them during & after class. There is a magic about him and how he links with the Golden Chain. Several have told me that the workshop experience brought them deeper still than the concert the previous night (and of course you know how great those concerts are). I wonder if he's ever thought of teaching that class at Summer Solstice. Mind you, we're ok with him storing up all that magic just for us when he comes to Ottawa!! Such a pleasure. Please thank him for me again. I got my class last night to chant some long Aaaaaaaaaaahhhs & Hummmmmms. Wonderful!
Sat nam,

I just saw you at the Spring Ecstatic Chant at Omega. It was my first exposure to your music and my gosh, has it stuck! There's one mantra you did that I can't get out of my head:
'Hari Om, Dear Lord, Sat Nam, Holy Name, When I Call On The Light Within, I Go Home'
Thanks so much for an amazing experience and many blessings as you continue to share your gifts!
Melissa

The gratitude is flowing from all corners here and from my being to Snatam and you and your whole team and especially to Yogi Bhajan who brought the light of God into your lives. I realize now that he sent you to us as a gift to lift our hearts at this time. You will all come to Fairfield again and there will be other great nights, but everyone will always remember this last May night because of the timing and the intention of love you brought to us at this time.

As I mentioned it's been my great joy to have people express to me their gratitude for the concert in the last weeks. Almost everyone started by saying "Thank you for bringing them" (well God brought you and it was nice that he allowed me to lend a helping hand :-).

Further expressions included:
"The best concert I have ever been to"
"The best event ever in Fairfield"
"One of the best nights of my life"
"It was incredible, just so incredible"
"I began to cry as soon as Snatam sang" Many said they cried including the guys.
"We thought we were just going to a concert, but it was so much more. It was so healing for the whole community to come together, chant and unite for peace"
"Thanks for bringing Snatam Kaur and her group here – what a spectacular event!! I saw them in 2003 in California and was blown away then as now. Very beautiful experience – I look forward to having them come back."
"They seem like incredible people, wonderful musicians. Nancy and I were truly inspired."

I felt all these things too. It was truly one of the best nights of my life and I felt privileged to be part of it. You know when I first heard Snatam's voice I realized that this was something very powerful but it was only when I first heard her sing in rehearsal that I had that experience of God consciousness that all of us experienced during the concert. And if ever the road gets weary, remember the transformation you are creating in people's lives and the planet make it all worth it.

Well to sum it all up, you all have a lot of fans here now! And yes 2009 sounds great, we'd love it.
Peace and blessings to you

Dear GuruGanesha,
Just a quick note to say people have been stopping me in the street, the grocery store, the cafes etc. to tell me how much they enjoyed the concert. I am going to write you a longer letter with a summary of some of the experiences, for now I just wanted to you know that the feedback has been extraordinary.
Peace and Blessings,
Guy
